Volunteer

Become a part of our dedicated team of volunteers.

We have exciting volunteer opportunities in heritage research, learning, events, visitor services, exhibitions and more.

These range from a few hours every week to one-off events, like the Christmas fayre or exhibition openings. We also offer local companies opportunities for their employees to be involved with specific activities at the Church. The various volunteer positions can be found below.

Volunteering is a great way to develop your skills. You will meet new people, gain experience in a visitor-facing environment, and be invited to talks, events and other social gatherings. We encourage people of all backgrounds and communities to consider volunteering with us. No prior experience is necessary; if you’re enthusiastic about volunteering, we’d love to hear from you!
