Community Support

St Marylebone Parish Church prides itself on being the centre of its community.

Growing a community is not something that happens overnight, St Marylebone has spent the last 900 years building and maintaining our community engagement. Today, we work with local groups ensuring we are doing the best we can for our local or wider community. See below for more information.

The St Marylebone Schools

We work with and support schools and universities all over the country, from holding end of year assemblies to graduations. If you would like to explore booking a graduation or assembly, please contact our buildings team. We also work with two schools, The St Marylebone CE School and The St Marylebone CE Bridge School.

St Marylebone Changing Lives

The Changing Lives project was launched to enable us to meet new challenges. St Marylebone is currently undergoing one of its most significant developments since our current church building was constructed in 1817. As a parish church which has always led the way in innovative projects, we now have an ambitious vision for our future. Despite St Marylebone’s key role in history, nowhere currently tells or showcases the rich and fascinating story of “the great city north of Oxford Street”, and that is exactly what our Changing Lives project is doing.

Medical

The area of St Marylebone is famous for its doctors and medical care. With our neighbouring Harley Street housing many of the most famous practices and doctors, it is very important we support the heath care in our community. We offer chaplaincy to hospitals and even have an NHS Health centre in our crypt.
