As a metropolitan parish in the heart of central London, we also have a network of faith that reaches across the globe. One of the key links that we have is with the Diocese of Kagera, starting in 2021 with Dean Amon from Kagera Cathedral.  

Kagera has two church schools, a hospital, a theological college, and the ministry of healing as part of their mission They are seeking to build a new cathedral themselves as the present one is too small and is used for their growing youth work.  

Their vision: “Life given in its fullness” (John 10:10). We seek to provide Holistic mission which is the mission that touches the mind, spirit and the Body as we seek to transform our community, spiritually, mentally and physically.  

Our links include friendship and visits, prayer, pen pals through the St Marylebone Schools and Young Church, fundraising, Being the Body of Christ – the Universal Church, and learning from each other.
