In September 2013, The St Marylebone CE School opened an affiliate Special School, The St Marylebone CE Bridge School, a co-educational Church of England Special Free School Academy which aims to provide a high quality education for children with special educational needs aged 11- 16, whose primary needs are related to their Speech, Language and Communication.
The Bridge School is a co-educational Free Special School providing “an innovative education to students with statements for Speech, Language and Communication”.
By nurturing Compassion, Kindness, Forgiveness and Peace the School has created a calm, safe and enjoyable learning environment where everyone matters and in which the pupils regularly experience success. A broad and balanced curriculum guarantees that pupils access a range of qualifications that foster academic success, independence and social awareness while ensuring that every pupil reaches their full potential.
The school is committed to developing its pupils as active, skilled citizens, with strong moral values who contribute positively to life in modern Britain. Affiliation with St Marylebone CE School, an outstanding mainstream school, enriches the provision and further enables the School to serve its pupils.
