Father Stephen’s Zipwire Journey!

Whilst visiting the Penrhyn Quarry in Bangor, Wales, home to the 14,000 slates now at St Marylebone Parish Church for our new Welsh-slate roof, Father Stephen completed his zipwire journey! The quarry is home to the worlds fastest zip-wire. It is 500ft-high and just over a mile-long with panoramic views of the slate quarry and local coastline. He completed this journey on the 6th April 2022, raising £3,325 for the Changing Lives Project. Watch below!
