🌿 Pilgrim Walk (Optional) – Begin the day with a peaceful country walk along the Pilgrim’s Path, featuring guided reflections and prayers, offering a chance to learn about the inspiring life of St Alban, Britain’s first martyr.
🎭 Puppet Parade & Pilgrimage Eucharist – Experience the St Albans Giant Puppet Parade, a spectacular tradition that has been running for over 30 years! Featuring towering 10ft puppets, the parade dramatically re-enacts the story of St Alban’s martyrdom, leading us to St Albans Cathedral for a special Eucharist Service, uniting thousands of pilgrims in worship.
⚔️ Medieval Festival & Fellowship – Picnic together and enjoy free time at the St Albans Medieval Festival, with plenty of chances to connect with fellow parishioners over historical re-enactments, entertainment, and great food.
🎶 Optional Evensong – For those who wish, the day can end in prayer and reflection with a beautiful Choral Evensong at the Cathedral. (Note: you will need to make your own return travel arrangements).
Please note that the deadline for bookings will be the 18th of May so that we can arrange appropriate travel arrangements.
