St Marylebone Summer Concert

Three of Bach’s iconic Brandenburg Concerto’s form the heart of this programme, together with sumptuous works inspired by the French court by Muffat and Lalande.

Across the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Concerti, Bach creates dazzling solo combinations of violin, flute, recorders, harpsichord and strings. Performed on period instruments, this is rare chance to hear several of these timeless works alongside works by Bach’s contemporaries and predecessors, played by some of the of the UK’s most exciting early music performers.
