The Spirit of Folk

This world tour concert meticulously features three exceptional sonatas brimming with distinctive ethnic musical colours, composed respectively by Esposito, Ravel, and Karen Khachaturian.

From the rustic charm of Irish folk melodies to the opulent imagination of French Impressionism, and further to exotic blends of blues and waltz rhythms, each work unveils unique cultural landscapes and sonic styles, delivering a richly diverse auditory feast.

Particularly noteworthy is Italian composer Esposito’s violin sonata, hailed as a “long-lost gem.” Silent for a century in historical obscurity, this masterpiece will witness its first documented global premiere during this tour through the profound reinterpretation by two musicians, carrying significant artistic and historical weight.
