Who Makes Marylebone?

Who Makes Marylebone is one of our biggest Changing Lives activities to date, with many moving parts happening to create our 45 minute film. The film showcases the lives of 10 individuals who live, work and feel a sense of belonging amongst the St Marylebone area. 

The activity has been in motion for years now but August 2020 was when filming began.

One thing that ties a film like this together is music – we are delighted to be working with the Royal Academy of Music as part of this project. After a couple of meeting with Chocolate Films and RAM, the film was handed over and RAM began composing the original score to accompany the film. 

Students from RAM watched the film and made sure they truly understood each story.  They cleverly ensured that each story had an individual musical accompaniment, enhancing each one, whilst keeping a similar theme throughout. We are of course absolutely delighted with the result and now all that’s left to do is show it off!
